- Educational Requirements: BS Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus but not required
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 7 or more years experience in Marketing, Advertising or Product Management *Experience in marketing auto parts products in the after-market is preferred. Experience in a team-oriented atmosphere is a plus. Must have experience in determining trade show selection and effectiveness. Must have experience in building Brands. Must possess the communication skills required to work closely with outside agencies to develop Advertisements and editorial content
- Experience working in a Product Management organizational structure is preferred, supervisory experience is necessary, experience in market research to support corporate Sales and Marketing efforts, strong experience in process development and project management
- experience in developing marketing plans and maintaining a marketing calendar, New Product launch experience is a must *Experience in developing Promotional Packages and monitoring results, Must have experience in the development of packaging, product catalogs, new product flyers and other collateral materials

| Description: |
- Principal Responsibilities: 1. Participate on the Management Committee (MCM) whose charter is to more efficiently run the day-to-day operations of the business. Provide input into the process improvement opportunities and manage teams as it relates to such. Further, act as a coach and mentor to the leader of a Cross Functional Product Team, to develop the team to run their group as if it were an independent business unit, responsible for it�s own P&L within the larger organization. 2. Maintain accurate scheduling system and up-to-date project status reports to ensure on time delivery of all support programs and materials. 3. Work closely with Product Management to develop new product launch programs to the marketplace 4. Liaison with Public Relations and Advertising agencies in support of brand building and product introductions. 5. Develop strategy to bring more awareness, consistency reinforcement to our brand positions 6. Develop plan to promote Brands through internal and external avenues that require minimal cost. 7. Provide creative direction to Creative Services and/or outside Ad Agency in the development of advertisements. 8. Coordinate trade shows support and assure that proper support is provided to effectively market and merchandise the product lines. Work in conjunction with GPDs in determining content of booth. 9. Provide support for success of annual Marketing plans and implement in conjunction with marketing calendar. 10. Provide budgetary tracking of all expenses incurred through Marketing Services for the different product groups for the reassignment of those costs back to the product group. 11. Keep industry and market information current. 12. Provide direction in the development of collateral materials to ensure targeted feature/benefit messages that sell the features, benefits and points of difference. 13. Develop and track budgetary expenditures
