Position Title: National Sales Director
Location: FILLED
Company Brief: Industry leader in the Automotive and Commercial Tool & Equipment Aftermarkets. Our client is very well capitalized and is experiencing double-digit growth on an annual basis.
Compensation: $60 to $80K Base + Bonus
Requirements:
  • Must have proven track record and desire to drive sales via independent, outside sales teams
  • New business development experience at the Jobber, Installer and Commercial / Retail Reseller levels a must
  • Enthusiastic, feet-in-the-street mentality a must
  • Must have proven ability to work independently and in team oriented environments
  • Prior experience developing / designing promotions, marketing strategies and incentive programs
  • Equipment and / or Tool experience a plus
  • Ability to travel 25-40%
  • Must be able to commute to Orange County (Fullerton area)
Description:
  • Primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth, in a vertical market, through hands-on account management, new business development and effective motivation of independent sales teams
  • Manage and drive sales at the independent dealer, jobber, installer and commercial retail levels
  • Interface with Executive Management Team to develop successful promotions, marketing and sales oriented programs that are creative and add value
  • Position reports directly to the President
  • Position expectations will ultimately include responsibility for developing and managing a direct sales force
