| Requirements: |
- Engineering Degree
- In-depth knowledge of all automotive Suspension types, geometry, and suitability for applications
- Knowledge of suspension development techniques including performance and durability
- Understanding of suspension parameters and tuning on vehicle and in simulation
- Previous experience in suspension design on major OEM programs
- PC Skills should include working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD and CATIA
- Our client will consider out-of-area candidates however no relocation assistance is available

| Description: |
- Designs and releases Chassis components including: Sub-frames, steering and suspension components, and wheel end assemblies
- Responsibilities include validation, prototype and launch support, maintenance of existing products will also be required
- Develops engineering work plan for assigned components consistent with program objectives and completes all APQP required engineering documents for assigned program content
- Track program timing related to design release, tooling manufacturing, test certification, pilot and production build schedules for all assigned parts and systems
- Initiated Design Work Orders and reviews designs to ensure objectives are maintained and assists in developing engineering expenditures required to achieve program objectives
- Reviews and updates job performance objectives periodically to reflect new information and new technology
