Position Title: Field Sales Rep
Location: Chicago IL Area
Company Brief: International manufacturer and distributor of automotive aftermarket products
Compensation: $35 - $55K salary + 25-50% commission + expenses + benefits
Requirements:
  • 3 years of outside B2B sales experience in the automotive aftermarket

  • Business development / account management at the retail dealer and distributor levels

  • Experience selling automotive accessories a plus

  • Must be numbers driven with the ability to use an assertive, relationship style of selling

  • Ability to travel 25%

  • Work from regional office in Chicago

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Will consider candidates outside area, however NO relocation assistance available

Description:
  • Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close

  • Meet & exceed agreed upon sales quota

  • Implement company marketing plan and meet the business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area

  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned territory

  • Work with existing distribution networks to "pull-thru" business and support their operations, including training

  • Manage client/ customer needs as required
